I used to cry for my color because I had seen on TV african-american's lynching, only God Knows how many tears I shed about apartheid and the frustration I used to feel when I saw "For white's only", I used to cry when my teacher's made me know about slavery and all that my people went through about three centuries ago and until the 70's...., how bad, frustrated, angry, furious.... I felt about what happened to Malcom X. Martin Luther King, Steven Biko to name just them.... But today I cried the same way but for different reasons, I cried because I am happy, proud, I cried because Barack Obama became the President of the United States of America, my yesterday tears were made of frustation and anger, but my today's tears are made of victory, elevation to the next level for black history, joy, pride, recognition.... Sorry but I just can't find the right words to express the way I feel for it's so strong I am too emotionnal!Much respect to my white brothers and sisters that made it happen too, that made it easy, possible by changing their point of view about us and finally according us the trust we deserve, because as I am used to say if we have ways and means we can make it, Barack Obama faced the world and he wasn't alone for everybody reached out a hand for him to hold and not only we black people, but my white people too thanks everybody and let me pay a tribute to the great Martin Luther King that used to say "WE SHALL OVER COME" because WE HAVE OVER COME finally, at last, GREAT GOD ALMIGHTY
